A Message From Our Founder Mark Meyer Appel

On behalf of The Bridge Multicultural & Advocacy Project, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our new website and share the mission of The Bridge MCP with you. In January 2013, I assembled a group of community activists to discuss the need to develop a location that would house a multicultural advocacy center. A building where all religions and ethnic groups can work together to address the needs of our communities. Since our inception and with collaboration from our diverse partners, we have hosted over 300 events, musical celebrations, arts exhibits, as well as community support programs.  In 2016, we are ecstatic that our message of “Unity in Action” has begun resonating around New York State and the Nation. The essential message that should resonate in our communities must be one of unity, regardless of our political or religious beliefs. We can no longer live in a society where crime, guns, and violence is status quo; where our schools and justice system is in shambles; where our constitutional rights to live in a nation is under siege. We invite you into our extended family as a volunteer, organizational partner and/or community member. Please take this opportunity to join our newsletter, view our calendar of upcoming events and/or register to attend one of the forums.

We are ecstatic that our message of “Unity in Action” continues to resonate around New York State and the Nation. The essential message that should resonate in our communities must be one of unity, regardless of our political or religious beliefs.
